Allianz Malaysia Bhd's unit, Allianz General Insurance Co (M) Bhd, has launched a claims caravan in the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia to help expedite claims processes during the year-end monsoon.
In a statement today, Allianz General said the caravan would be stationed interchangeably in the cities to allow its policyholders to lodge a claim for their homes affected by the flood.
The cities included Kota Baru, Kuala Terengganu, Temerloh and Kuantan, where it would spend at least one day in each city by rotation, it said.
"All they need to do is approach our Allianz staff at the caravan, fill in the claims forms and an authorised adjuster will be assigned to survey the property within 24 hours," said head of Claims Division of Allianz General, Jayapragash Amblavanar.
The initiative, expected to run from December 29, 2015 until January 4, 2016, is the first for Allianz General to deliver on its promise to be the most reliable partner for the customers in their hour of need.
